Who we are
PRIYAN ("PRIYAN", "we", "us", "our") is a Mumbai-based digital growth partner operating the website priyan.ai. For any question about this policy or about your personal information, contact us at hello@priyan.ai.
PRIYAN is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus limited technical information needed to run the site securely.
Information you give us
- Growth Audit requests: business name, contact person, WhatsApp number, email address, industry, your description of your biggest digital challenge, the areas you need help with, and optionally your website, Instagram, Facebook and Google Business Profile links.
- Contact enquiries: name, business name, mobile or WhatsApp number, email address, business type, service of interest, your message, and optionally your website and an approximate monthly marketing budget.
- Direct correspondence: anything you send us by email or WhatsApp.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: our hosting provider records standard web server information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. This is used for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
- Spam prevention: when you submit a form we store a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address for a short period to apply rate limiting. The hash cannot be reversed to recover your IP address.
- Analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information. Please do not include health information, financial account details, government identification numbers or passwords in any website form.
How we use your information
- To prepare and deliver the Free AI Digital Growth Audit you requested.
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss whether and how we can help.
- To provide services you engage us for, and to communicate about that work.
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations that apply to us.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not add you to a marketing mailing list because you requested an audit or sent an enquiry.
Legal basis for processing
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on:
- Consent — when you submit a form asking us to contact you, and when you accept analytics cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — to secure our website, prevent abuse and respond to enquiries about our services, balanced against your rights.
- Contract — where processing is necessary to provide services you have engaged us for.
- Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose information by law.
AI and how it is used
PRIYAN uses artificial intelligence tools to help research, analyse and draft work, including parts of the Growth Audit. You should know the following:
- A person reviews the output of any AI tool before it is sent to you or published.
- We do not use AI to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
- Where we use third-party AI services in delivering work, we take reasonable steps to avoid submitting personal information that is not necessary for the task.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent needed:
- Hosting and email provider — to host this website and deliver enquiry emails to us.
- Analytics providers — only if you have accepted analytics cookies.
- Advertising platforms — only where you have engaged us to run advertising for your business, and only in connection with that work.
- Professional advisers and authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information.
Some providers may process information outside India. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
WhatsApp communications
If you contact us through WhatsApp, your message and phone number are processed by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy, over which we have no control. We use WhatsApp to have a conversation with you about your enquiry.
We do not add numbers to broadcast lists without a clear opt-in, and we do not buy contact lists or send unsolicited bulk messages.
How long we keep information
- Enquiries and audit requests — retained while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can pick up a conversation you resume later.
- Client records — retained for the duration of our engagement and for as long as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
- Spam-prevention hashes — retained for a short period only and then deleted automatically.
- Server logs — retained according to our hosting provider's standard retention period.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See Your rights below.
How we protect information
- The site is served over HTTPS, so information submitted through forms is encrypted in transit.
- Form submissions are validated and sanitised on the server, with protection against cross-site request forgery, automated spam and excessive submissions.
- Access to enquiry data is limited to those who need it to do the work.
- Credentials and API keys are never stored in website code.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and any relevant authority as required by law.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- confirm what personal information we hold about you, and provide a copy;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent you previously gave, including for analytics cookies.
To exercise any of these, email hello@priyan.ai. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party websites
This site links to websites we do not control, including client websites in our portfolio and third-party platforms. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Read their policies before providing information to them.
